lululemon sup & swim wear
Danielle Brown
I was delighted to take pictures with my friend and photog extraordinaire, Ellie Tonev the other week for Lululemon Greenwich. We toyed through emails with locations for the shoot. We are lucky to have so much beauty along the coast as a backdrop. With the SUP season approaching, I wanted to showcase the waterway and my new board. I figured it would be the tops to incorporate my favorite setting for Beach Yoga and Ellie, characteristic to her nature, sweetly agreed to come to Weed Beach.
Weed beach is one of my small town's two public beaches. It has undergone a complete renovation just a few years ago with a marine inspired playground, new snack bar, pavilion, picture worthy landscaping and new paddle and tennis courts complete with a paddle hut! It's four seasons of fun! But despite all the shiny new perks, some things remain. The beach is expansive, the view is of Long Island and there are big rocks that cliff out over the bluff. My kids climb those rocks like pirates, to go "exploring". There are shrubs and small trees on this rocky cliff which add to the adventure element, with a varied terrain and bramble throughways. Even though the trek is short and the location very much familiar, it's just fun to play.
